Great job! This script is hands down the most valuable script we have in our library. I use it multiple times a day, and would highly recommend it. This plugin makes jumping in and out of old files easy, its a life saver. Relinking bitmaps to downloaded assets etc. I have tryed alternaitves Like from Sini software, which is a paid app but this is by far the most user friendly and fast. Only word of caution is to keep the directories focused, ie have a few folders to reference.

Not a full drive for everything as it will have to search everything so obviously take longer. Good call on limiting the scope of searched directories. Glad to hear it's easy to use, as an artist myself I understand the needs of users :. This is the first script I install whenever setting up a Max. I see that I am not the only one, well it makes life so much easier! It's the best. One of the best 3rd party script I have used in 3D Studio Max. Wonderful functionality. Saved me tons of time.

This plugin is pricless when working on projcts with a lot of tectures. It is the best must-have tool in my day by day work. It is so powerful that I can not even imagine opening a scene and not running RB.

Rock solid, does its job, one of the first scripts I install on my 3dsmax installations. Due to the very frustrating bug in the configuration of paths limited amount in 3dsmax someone pointed out to this plugin in the forum as a solution for the workflow.

It is also very fast to set up the whole hard disk. It takes about 1 minute to complete it, and it is possible to set a few folders separately. Required to install first. This script saves us a ton of time. We work on different machines, connected to different networks, and this script saves us a ton of time.

We've had up to about bitmaps in scenes, which would take forever to relink. Thankfully Colin wrote this! There are a couple things it doens't find, but I've asked Colin to add them to the next release. Fingers crossed they get added.

Hoping these can be added, but if not, relinking those in 10 minutes isn't that big of a deal. I am am obile user so changing project paths and re linking maps is almost a daily occurrance.

Good,I love it. I use this script every day. A script that I will use every day, it's excecution seems simple, but make no mistake, things would be very difficult with out this 'much have' script.

I think this is the 3rd or maybe 4th update I installed to this wonderful script. This is quite simply one of the most useful scripts for 3DS Max in my opinion. Great product, great efficiency! This is a life saver and needs to be part of 3ds Max standard offering, saved me so much time and hassle. I use Relink Bitmap since 6 years. All versions until now worked fine for me. The contact to Colin Senner is also very good. If you reorganise your folder structure and want to edit older projects this tool saves a lot of time, really worth to donate!

Adding multiple numerous paths to have the required bitmaps is slow and time consuming as I have a project folder with thousand of sub folder. Good Job! Been using this script for years and use it almost daily.

Takes the pain out of dealing with asset tracking while always providing a reliable tool. I am re-activating a suspended project in a different computer recently and have been having nightmares re-linking the paths then i bump into this awesome script from you, saves my day.

I take advantage of a number of scripts in my work flow but this one is the one I value the most. I have no idea how this is not part of Max to begin with. If you have to work a lot with external or bought 3d models, then this script will save you so much time. How is this not part of 3dsMax to begin with? This app just solved with a simple and quick tool all the scene missing bitmaps with one click. Much more quicker and easy to use than the default 3dsmax asset tracking.! No problem sending this guy a few bucks for this script. It's worth so much more. I've been working with 3dsMax for 15 years, this is by far the easiest 'material link' script I've ever used.

Colin is very helpful and answers your questions. I use this tool regularly and it is such a massive time-saver, I freelance in the UK and can tell you this is a fundamental tool in all arch-vis studios. I use it on almost every job and it saved me probably hours of finding and relinking. It is amazingly fast and easy to use and has the neat feature to delete all missing bitmaps, which is great for cleaning up scenes.

A must-have! This is a daily use script and it's just so simple, with all the necessary tools you could ever need. Extremly time saver for using everyday. The Maxx is a very abstract character that changes form quite a bit from image to image, but this my culmination of the character existing in the Outback of Pangaea. I wanted this image to fall somewhere between surreal and realistic much like the character and comic do, so hopefully it achieves this.

I started this project a long long time ago and have worked on it on and off. Ihave no idea how long I ever actually spent on it but probably way too long. It took me down some rabbit holes between not having a strong enough computer to complete the sculpt at one point, obsessing over color detail from all angles thinking about maybe a 3D print or animated poster which lead to wanting to attempt a real hair sim which ended up being a deep deep rabbit hole, but I settled on a sculpt with a little paint over in the final image here.

I decided I finally wanted to wrap up this project so I spent a week wrapping it up and putting together renders for this composite. The models were started in Maya and finished in Zbrush. Final renders we created in Maya Mental Ray and composites in Photoshop. The only minor airbrushing is applied to the hair and feathers, and a couple small composite mask bleeds around the rock. Remove Editor's Pick. Image was renderd in passes: beuuty, AO, hair and composed in photoshop where I made cc and added final touch.

I used the Multi Map Exporter plugin for ZBrush to export a cavity and displacement map as a base for the textures. And then Rendered with Mental Ray. As well as the sand. Rig these characters Took approximately 3 days. For rendering I am using Mentalray with imagebased lighting. Eyebrows were made in maya painteffects.

We had to go around the city area in Sarasota and draw from life, then take the images we drew and produce an exaggerated drawing of that scene.
